Sausage and Cabbage One Dish Dinner

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, chopped
2 teaspoon fresh minced garlic
1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 teaspoon dried red chili pepper flakes
1 1/2 lb kielbasa, cut into about 1/2-inch slices
6 cups chopped green cabbage
3/4 cup canned chicken broth
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Shredded parmesan cheese
Cooked egg noodles

Instructions:

Cook the sausage in a large skillet until browned on both sides.  In the same skillet melt the butter and sauté onion, garlic, bell pepper and chili flakes over medium-low heat.  Return sausage to the skillet and add in the chopped cabbage and broth.  Cook stirring for about 20-25 minutes or until cabbage is tender.  In a large pasta bowl, toss with parmesan cheese and hot cooked noodles.  Season to taste using salt and pepper.
